Standardized IT deployment on corporate devices
Give your IT team the flexible installation options, permissions, and security controls they need.
Leverage multiple ways to install the Silent App
Flexibly install the Silent App at scale via MDM options, including Intune, Jamf, GPO, and JumpCloud. Deployment packages include .msi for Windows, .pkg for macOS, and .sh for Linux.
Consistent tracking without any interruption
Designed for transparent tracking of activity levels (percentage of mouse and keyboard usage, not keystroke logging), screenshots, apps and URLs used, and idle time, according to the organizational policy and settings. The agent continues to track time even without the screenshot or URL permissions in place.
Flexible permission controls
For the Silent App to operate seamlessly, some OS-level permissions are essential. Users on macOS always need to manually approve Screen Recording. While IT admins can automatically configure app and URL tracking permissions for users with .mobileconfig profiles, some approval may still be required.
Robust workforce data protection
Hubstaff processes all data with complete security while meeting all GDPR compliance requirements. Your organization remains the primary Data Controller responsible for creating policies for the collection and management of workforce data. Review Hubstaff’s Data Processing Addendum (DPA) and subprocessor list for more details on data processing, storage, and third-party providers.
Certified compliance and data protection
Hubstaff keeps your workforce data secure with SOC 2 Type II compliance and encryption both in transit and at rest. Hubstaff also supports SSO through Azure AD, Okta, OneLogin, Office 365, and Google Workspace. A documented incident response process makes sure that initial communication about a security breach occurs within 24 hours.
Designed to work with your tech stack
Built to fit your IT stack. The Silent App works within your existing environment, backed by published uptime and SLA commitments on the Hubstaff Status page, as well as a public API and CLI for custom tooling and automation.
